Tracksuit prices span an enormous range, and the differences aren't always obvious from a photo. Here's what actually changes as price goes up.
Budget Tier (Entry-Level)
Thinner polyester fabric, simpler construction, a more limited color/fit range. Reasonable for occasional wear, but expect faster pilling and fading.
Mid-Range
Heavier tricot or proper cotton-blend terry, better stitching at stress points, and a wider range of fits (athletic, regular, relaxed). Most of our men's tracksuits sit in this band.
Premium / Elevated
Heavier, softer fabric and technical blends, more tailored fits with actual shaping, finer construction details like flat-seam stitching and quality zippers.
What Doesn't Necessarily Change With Price
- Comfort — a well-made budget tracksuit in the right fabric can be just as comfortable as an expensive one.
- Trend-accuracy — budget and premium tiers both chase current silhouettes.
How to Shop Smart at Any Budget
Check the fabric composition before buying — a higher cotton or heavier poly-blend percentage holds shape and color better than very thin polyester. Prioritize construction details over color or logo details if you plan to wear it often.
If a full set isn't the goal, building from men's tops and men's shorts often gets you more wear per dollar than a single matched set.
